Checked against the Mac app source on 25 October 2026. A novice has not yet been recorded completing this on a clean Mac. Where a step is untested, the page says so.
The request to paste
Use this as the sample, and say it is sample data:
Plan a simple app for members of a local walking club. They can browse sample walks, view the distance and meeting point, and save a favourite on the device. Use sample data. Leave accounts, payments, and live maps out of this first version.
Steps
- Open BitBytec and connect the chat. Expected: the desk can see a coding agent, and the chat can ask whether the Mac is ready.
- Choose Apps so the pack stays Flutter. Expected: the blueprint is a phone app, not a website.
- Read the offer and accept it only if the screens match the request. Expected: a project folder appears under your home directory, with a Flutter starter. Decline if maps, payments, or accounts crept in.
- Watch the desk. Expected: building, then a preview if a real screen file exists. A missing preview is reported as missing.
Completion check
- You can open a list of sample walks and a detail.
- Saving a favourite does not ask for an account.
- Empty and missing states are readable.
- You know this is a Mac preview or a Flutter run, not an App Store build.
If it fails
If Flutter is not visible to the app, the project can still be written and the check will say the app was not run. Install Flutter yourself, then check again. If no coding agent is visible, stop and use support. Do not treat a picture on this website as the result.
