Who is BitBytec for?
People who can describe a useful app or workflow and want a first version without starting in an editor. Leaders, founders, and operators are the audience the site is written for. Someone who already likes a coding agent can use the same loop.
Do I need to know how to code?
You need to describe the outcome and review the result. You also need the tools on the requirements page. A failed build or a public release may need technical help.
What can I make?
Four starting packs: a Flutter app, a landing page, an API with a small admin, and an internal tool. They are starting points, not a promise that every idea in those categories will succeed.
Does BitBytec replace my AI subscription?
No. You keep your planning assistant and your coding agent. Their accounts and usage are theirs.
Why not just ask a chat to write the code?
The chat can already write code. BitBytec’s job is the handoff: a blueprint you accept on the Mac, a project folder, and a preview to review. That workflow is what the app is built to do. A side-by-side timed comparison is not published.
Can I use any chat?
No. The app has paste steps for Claude, Cursor, and ChatGPT. It does not claim every screen of those products, and it does not have a Grok planning-chat path. See connect your chat.
Is everything offline?
No. The project files and the connector are local. The chat and the coding agent can still send the prompt to their providers. Package downloads need a network.
Will the app be published automatically?
No. A local preview is not a launched website, a hosted API, or a store submission.
How quickly can I make something?
It depends on setup, scope, and the tools. No universal time is claimed. Start with one small job.
Can I use real company data?
Start with sample data. A local folder does not decide whether your organisation allows a provider to see the prompt.
Can I keep improving a project?
The chat can propose a change to an existing project. That proposal waits for you. Treat richer project history as unfinished until you have used it.
What if a build fails?
The desk should show the failure. Use troubleshooting. There is no promise of automatic repair.
Is it ready for customers?
A first version is for review. Customer access, data, and uptime are further work.
How do I get it, and what does it cost?
Join early access. There is no checkout and no published price. Provider, hosting, and store fees are separate if you take those steps later. Joining the list does not send a download and does not promise a date.
