## Facts (single source, 2026-10-25)

- The public site is https://bitbytec.co.uk/. Guides, labs, journal, the Mac app, and early access are separate canonical pages.
- The product line is: We built Bitbytec with Bitbytec. Now build something of your own.
- The product for sale is the Mac IDE. There is no checkout and no published price today.
- A change to Bitbytec itself uses the same accept-on-the-Mac loop. It is not deployed automatically.
- Early access is a request on the site form. Submitting it does not buy the IDE.
- Early-access addresses are kept so BitBytec can write back. There is no separate newsletter signup today. A person can ask hello@bitbytec.co.uk to be removed.
- The IDE runs on a Mac. Windows, iPhone, and iPad builds are not available today.
- A person describes an app in ChatGPT, Claude, or Grok. The BitBytec app must already be open on their Mac. They accept or decline. A coding agent already on that Mac builds it.
- Coding agents the Mac app can launch today: Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, and Grok.
- The person sees a preview. The editor is not the front door.
- The desk summarises posts published by OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Apple, Microsoft, and xAI. It does not invent announcements.
- There is no refund policy today because nothing is sold yet.
