Nothing technical has to be on your screen.

People bounce off software tools in the first minute, and it is rarely because the idea was hard. It is because the first screen looked like someone else’s job. Folders. Branches. A terminal with a blinking cursor, daring you to type the wrong thing.

If you do not write code, that screen is a closed door with the lights on.

The first screen should be a question you can answer: do you want this made on your Mac?

Before that question, the screen is quiet. This Mac is on. Tell the chat what to make. When a blueprint arrives, the quiet ends in a useful way: a name, a paragraph, the screens someone drew for you. Build it, or not this time.

While it builds, you still do not get a log of compiler noise. You get the pictures you already accepted, and a line about what is happening. When there is a page to look at, the page is the window. You click around it the way you would click around any site.

There is a Studio, for the day you want the full desk: the runs, the files, the review. It is one button, not the front door. Most people should never need it. The people who do are welcome. The product is not embarrassed to have both, and it does not make you pick a career to try the simple one.

Where the files actually are

On your Mac, in a folder BitBytec made for that app. The coding agent works in a copy, so a bad pass does not scribble on the only version. You can ignore that sentence and just look at the preview. It is there for the person who later asks “where did it go?”

Open the desk when you are ready: BitBytec. Or start from the sentence: a weather app.
